The Los Angeles Regional Export Council (LARExC), together with the Governor’s Office for Business & Economic Development (Go-Biz), the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, and the China Enterprise Council (CEC), organized and sponsored the “2015 Seminar on US States-China Provinces Economic and Trade Cooperation & CEC Annual Conference in Los Angeles.
The event brought together over 250 executives representing the Counties of Orange, Ventura, Riverside, Los Angeles and San Bernardino; the Chinese province of Jiangsu; and members of the China Enterprise Council based in Los Angeles.
Seminars, workshops and matchmaking meetings were designed to promote exports, imports and foreign investments among all participants.
LARExC is an affiliate program of the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce appointed as the Administrator of the Memorandum-of-Understanding (MOU) signed between the State of California and the Chinese Ministry of Commerce. LARExC’s responsibilities include encouraging and facilitating trade and investment between the five counties and seven Chinese Provinces.
